Upper Coquetdale Community Transport runs a minibus for community groups in Upper Coquetdale and other parts of Northumberland. Since 2019 it has operated Route 16, a public bus service that runs four times weekly on a circular route from Rothbury via Alwinton. The organisation also provides an all-wheel-drive hybrid estate car mainly for healthcare appointments to places like Rothbury, Newcastle, Wansbeck, and Alnwick. The minibus can be hired for short or long periods.
