Rye & District Community Transport began operating in 1994 with trips to Age Concern Day Centres in Rye and Northiam. It runs outings for local clubs and groups to gardens, fetes, shows and historic buildings, plus home-to-school transport to Homewood School in Tenterden and school group activities. The group also handles evening and weekend trips to theatres, cinemas, concerts and weddings. It operates the 326 bus service for East Sussex County Council from Monday to Saturday along a route from Rye Station through Tilling Green, Udimore, Broad Oak and Rye Hospital to King’s Avenue.
